The SMSF Academy provides accredited training on self managed super funds topics ranging from trustees and SMSF professionals just starting out in the industry, through to specialist advisors.
Each training session conducted by The SMSF Academy is categorised into one of six categories to help attendees understand the suitability of the session for them or team members in their business.

Training targeted at more experienced SMSF trustees and professionals entering the SMSF industry. Focus on key concepts, understanding the law and basic strategies that may be employed within SMSFs. Typically includes graduate level accountants, auditors, para-planners, etc… |
BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE SMSF PROFESSIONAL

Training begins to focus more on strategies as professionals have a grasp on the fundamentals involved with superannuation. |
INTERMEDIATE SMSF PROFESSIONAL

Focus on many key strategies within SMSFs and how to apply the law to effectively implement for clients. |
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED SMSF PROFESSIONAL

Training will combined looking at both strategies both also technical aspects of SMSF related issues from Rulings, ATOIDs, NTLG discussions, etc. |
ADVANCED SMSF PROFESSIONAL

Targeting the SMSF specialist, where the training will include highly technical content where discussion is focusing on interpretation of the law from NTLG discussion, Treasury consultation papers, ministerial announcements, etc. |
